DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Our 8-bed Dialysis Inpatient Treatment unit is a small but rewarding unit! Our environment is inclusive and supportive. We have a charge nurse, educator, case managers, certified clinical hemodialysis technician, support staff and collaborative physicians to help you through your day. On site training and mentorship will be provided! Members of the Division of Nephrology at Baystate provide comprehensive outpatient and hospital care of patients with kidney diseases, hypertension, and fluid and electrolyte disorders. Baystate Nephrology offers state-of-the-art renal replacement therapies including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous dialysis modalities, and kidney transplantation.
