Overview:The selected candidate will provide safe and effective patient care and perform all essential functions of a dialysis RN. Will be responsible for providing care in accordance with North Carolina Board of Nursing – Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of care/practice. Responsibilities:- Provide safe, effective patient care and perform all essential functions of a dialysis RN.- Documents and enters patient data – before, during, and after dialysis treatment.- Day-to-day work includes desk work, computer work, and interaction with patients, facility/hospital staff, and physicians. Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current valid North Carolina license required- One year hemodialysis and/or ICU experience preferred.- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS, or must obtain.- 10 CEU’s related to renal patients/care will be required annually or current certification. Hours: Typically, will work three 10-hour shifts per week (Monday-Saturday). Position may require participation in on-call rotation for Sunday coverage. Your Health, Our Passion!
