Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience managing patients with chronic kidney disease or are willing to learn. Graduate of an approved school of nursing or accredited NJ program. CRNP/NJ licensure in the State of NJ Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner/NJ Program with a MSN as applicable. National Certification Board is-required. Motivated, driven and committed to providing compassionate clinical care. Willing to collaborate with physician to manage care of patients with broad spectrum of kidney disease. Job duties: Assisting the physician with outpatient clinic visits, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis visits, consultation work and managing patient electronic messages. This position includes travel to dialysis units around the area. The ANP will utilize professional skills in interviewing, assessment, evaluation, identification and implementation of treatment plans based on the needs of each patient. Responsibility for ordering of diagnostic procedures. Offer counseling and education to meet patient needs and may need to prescribe medicine. Interacts professionally with patients, families, and staff.
